# Sol Parrott — Portfolio project map

A quick guide to what lives in this folder.

## The source of truth (read these first)

- `PRODUCT.md` — strategy, audience, brand voice, anti-references, design principles.
- `DESIGN.md` — the design system and spec: color, type, and spacing tokens; components; page structure; and the numbered motion patterns.
- `CLAUDE.md` — build guide and working rules (read automatically by Claude Code each session).

## The site (built)

An Astro + TypeScript project. Static output, GSAP for motion.

- `src/pages/index.astro` — the home page.
- `src/pages/work/slb.astro` — the SLB Customer case study.
- `src/components/` — nav, footer, and the home/SLB sections.
- `src/styles/tokens.css` — the design tokens (change the theme here and it cascades).
- `dist/` — the last production build.

Run it locally: open this folder in the terminal or Claude Code and run `npm run dev`, then open the printed address (usually http://localhost:4321).

## Section references

Each `reference-*.html` is a finished, working build of one section, used as the exact target for the site build. They open directly in a browser (double-click), no server needed.

- `info from v1/` — original content and story handoffs.
- `_v1-reference/` — the earlier plain-HTML attempt, kept for reference only.

## Still open

- One section reference not yet built: "We became one team" (the SLB team photo gallery).
- The aesthetic evolution (more depth and dimension, refined spacing, a subtle abstract layer, and a new palette) is planned but not started.
